My name's Adrian. There are a lot of crazy titles and nicknames I could add to that, but none of them carry as much meaning as just "Adrian" to the person who knows me. If you only know me online, you might be more familiar with "Quicksilver," "Suigin Flair" or "K.A. Malik." I am an entertainer, a philosopher, an occultist, an artist, a sage and a child.
Short years of looking for truth brought me only nihilism. I don't look for truth to believe in anymore, I look for what beliefs satisfy me for the moment. Like any child, I used to think I knew things, like most people have for all of history. Then, like many of the more enlightened people throughout history, I knew that I really didn't know anything, which preoccupied me and distracted me from all of the stuff I should have been doing with the knowledge I had that I was too busy knowing that I didn't really know. I can't express how much of a relief it is to be able to pretend to know things again, even if I'm capable of throwing it all back out the window.
I organize a group of eccentric friends called the Garretteers. You can check out our community for more specific information, and I tend to post some of what we do here.
This journal contains snippets of my life I feel like posting, some thoughts and some annoying memes. I have some of my posts organized into my LJ memories if you feel like digging for the less uninteresting posts, but you're really better off just talking to me. I rarely feel like typing up the better parts of my mind.
